Australia Post Parcels can be recycled

Australia Post has partnered with TerraCycle to make all padded bags and plastic mailing satchels nationally recyclable.

Drop-off your mailing satchels to your closest public drop-off point.

If there is no public drop-off location available around you, you can also send back your satchels to TerraCycle to be recycled in four easy steps:

1. JOIN:  Sign up and join the Mailing Satchel Recycling Program for free.

2. COLLECT: Start collecting used mailing satchels and padded bags using any available box.

3. SHIP: Once you have a full box, log in to your TerraCycle account to request a free shipping label. Print and affix the label to your box and drop it off at your closest Australia Post office.

4. RECYCLE: That’s it! Your satchels will be delivered to TerraCycle and turned into new sustainable products!

For each satchel or padded bag you send to TerraCycle, 2 cents will be raised by the collection point towards the school or non-profit of their choice. The more satchels you recycle, the more money you can help raise for a good cause!
