For every 10,000 tonnes of waste recycled, there are 9.2 jobs created as opposed to 2.8 jobs for the same amount of material sent to landfill.

This statistic holds true (approximately) for Waste Converters Recycling. They currently recycle 50,000 tonnes of material per annum and employ 45 staff.
