This accomplishment makes HP Australia the highest returning manufacturer in the country Through 'Cartridges 4 Planet Ark' HP's printer cartridges are recycled into various products, including pens, picnic tables and asphalt.

HP Australia is a founding member of 'Cartridges 4 Planet Ark', working with Planet Ark since the program's inception in 2003.

Through the program, 13,500 printer cartridges are recycled every working day, and it's thanks to participating manufacturers such as HP Australia who have worked alongside recycler Close the Loop, and Planet Ark, to make that happen.

“HP represents approximately 55 percent of the total cartridges returned since the program's inception, which is a significant achievement," said Peter Tamblyn, Close the Loop Sales & Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific. “HP's commitment to sustainable recycling of waste and unused materials is helping ensure the environmental impact of consumption is significantly reduced."
