National Tree Day

It's time to celebrate 20 years of success! Since National Tree Day began in 1996, more than 3.5 million people have helped to plant and care for 21 million trees.

This year Planet Ark and Toyota invite you dig in and volunteer to run a site for either Schools Tree Day on Friday 24th July or National Tree Day on Sunday 26th July.

We Want You!

We're looking for coordinators from councils, schools, national parks, Landcare, Bushcare, environmental and nature care organisations, community groups, businesses, faith and sporting groups to organise a tree planting or nature-care event in their local area.

Coordinators needn't be planting or gardening professionals. Planet Ark provides lots of support, how-to-do-it advice, guides, examples and tips, as well as collateral to help promote your event.

By taking part in National Tree Day, you'll be contributing to Australia's largest community tree planting and nature-care event and joining thousands of individuals in making a difference, connecting people with nature, beautifying neighbourhoods and inspiring positive environmental change.

Register Today

If you register as a Tree Day Site Coordinator by 25th May 2015 you will automatically be in the running to win one of two vertical gardens (valued at $500 each), compliments of the Productive Garden Company.

Go on... dig in and register to become a site coordinator today.
