A Victoria For National Tree Day
Victoria's Department of Sustainability & Environment is offering free trees to National Tree Day participants as part of their 2 Million Trees initiative, making it even easier to hold a Tree Day event in Victoria!
Each year, thousands of Australians bring their communities together to care for their local environments through National Tree Day. Victoria's Department of Sustainability & Environment is giving trees to National Tree Day participants to help achieve their aim of planting 2 million trees in Victoria by 2014. To find out more, you can email 2M.Trees@dse.vic.gov.au or visit The Department of Sustainability and Environment's 2 Million Trees website.
For those in states outside Victoria, the National Tree Day Offers of Help page includes exclusive offers for site coordinators from nurseries, councils and businesses wanting to support local Tree Day events. Participants can still run the activity on whatever day they choose, although officially National Tree Day 2012 is on Sunday 29th July.
