Tell Us The Carbon Footprint For A Chance To Win
Look for the label
Measuring the carbon footprint of a product helps companies identify activities and processes they can change to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
The Carbon Reduction Label shows the carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases generated by the product through its entire lifecycle from raw materials, production, transport, consumer use and disposal or recycling of the packaging.
The carbon footprint of Sanctuary Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is 160grams CO2e per 125ml glass and the New Zealand Wine Company has committed to a two-year process to reduce this. The product is being stocked at Vintage Cellar stores around the country.
The other products carrying the Carbon Reduction Label include Aldi’s olive oil range, the Dyson Airblade and The New Zealand Wine Company’s Mobius Sauvignon Blanc. Check out the Carbon Reduction Label website for more information on these products.
