Green Resolutions

Week 9: I resolve to use online e-cards, or buy charity greeting cards - and recycle those I receive and do not wish to keep.

Date: 03-Mar-09

I love to give and receive greeting cards but there are ways I can do this without the environment bearing the cost.

Sending e-cards is one great way to still share the sentiment, while saving natural resources, and money.

If I use a paper-based gift card I will buy recycled content cards or charity cards.

Visit www.earthgreetings.com.au for a range of recycled content greeting cards, search online for an e-card supplier or visit www.charitygreetingcards.com.au for a wide selection of charity cards.

I’ll pop my used cards into my kerbside paper recycling, or donate them to a local school for craft activities.

Commitment Statement

I will use online e-cards, or buy charity greeting cards - and recycle those I receive and do not wish to keep.
