Week 27: I resolve to remember to take reusable bags with me to the supermarket and shopping centre, and to use them!
Date: 07-Jul-09
If all Australians switched to using reusable shopping bags it would save nearly 4 billion plastic bags every year or 10 million new bags every day.
I can keep reusable bags in my car or handbag so I always have one on hand. If I have too many, I can donate some to a local charity store.
I can buy reusable bags from most supermarkets or online from www.onyabags.com.au, www.trashbags.com.au, www.ecobags.com.au, www.todae.com.au, www.biome.com.au, www.planetarkdirect.com, www.estringbags.com.au and www.fizbag.com/australia.asp.
