Week 12: I resolve to reduce my electricity consumption by 10% over the next quarter (compared to the same period last year).

I’ll undertake simple acts like switching off computers, lights, televisions and other items at the wall to reduce my energy consumption. I’ll investigate products like the Jackson Energy Saving Powerboard that can help me switch off appliances plugged into the board in one movement.
I’ll use heating and air conditioning efficiently, dry clothes in the sun and replace my light bulbs with energy efficient compact fluorescent light globes (CFLs).
